1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Pro UPI QR website and tool (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or access our utility.
2. Description of Service
Pro UPI QR provides local browser tools for QR codes, documents, and calculators, plus optional account-backed dynamic redirects, merchant checkout sessions, and signed payment-status storage. Cloud features may require Clerk authentication and Vercel KV. The Service is provided for utility and informational purposes.
3. Accounts and Credentials
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping Clerk sessions, merchant API keys, legacy management tokens, and webhook secrets confidential. Do not place secret credentials in browser code, QR destinations, public repositories, or support messages. Notify us promptly if you believe a credential has been exposed.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not use dynamic redirects, checkout pages, QR codes, or APIs for phishing, impersonation, malware, credential collection, deceptive payment requests, illegal goods or services, harassment, or attempts to bypass rate limits and access controls. A payment link you add to the payment tracker for clients abroad must be your own account and must not mislead payers. We may pause or remove campaigns and accounts that create security, legal, or domain-reputation risk.
5. Payment Status and Customer References
Pro UPI QR is not a payment gateway and does not independently verify bank settlement. A customer-submitted UTR or reference, including a transfer reference submitted on a pay link for an invoice in another currency, is only an unverified claim. A hosted checkout is marked paid only after its merchant confirms receipt through the checkout API. The separately signed payment-response API stores provider results but does not automatically change hosted checkout status. Users must check bank or gateway records before delivering goods, issuing refunds, or treating an order as paid.
6. User Responsibility and VPA Accuracy
You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Payee Name, UPI ID (Virtual Payment Address/VPA), Amount, and Note that you input into the generator. We are not responsible for transactions sent to incorrect, misspelled, or fraudulent UPI addresses. You must verify the QR code scans and displays correct merchant info prior to publishing, printing, or placing it in a commercial environment. If you invoice clients abroad, you are responsible for the bank details and payment link you show them. Pro UPI QR isn't a bank, payment gateway or money transmitter: it doesn't convert currency or verify transfers, and bank charges and exchange rates are between you and your bank. The GST export line and LUT ARN it can add are a convenience; LUT, GST and FEMA compliance and tax advice are your responsibility.
7. Third-Party Destinations
Dynamic QR destinations and external links are supplied by users. Their inclusion does not mean Pro UPI QR owns, reviews, or endorses the destination. Campaign owners must maintain a lawful public HTTPS or valid UPI destination. Report abusive links to abuse@proupiqr.in.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the generated QR codes will scan correctly on all devices or with all mobile banking software. We disclaim any liability for failed payments, transaction timeouts, banking system downtime, or financial loss of any kind arising from the use of QR codes built on this website.
9. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall Pro UPI QR, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use this service.
10. Free Accounts, Pay Links, and the Pro Plan
Free tools, the browser-only payment tracker, and free accounts cost nothing. A free account may keep 1 business in the payment tracker and a limited number of pay links active at once, as shown on the pricing page. The Pro plan is a recurring subscription sold through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, monthly or yearly at the price shown when you subscribe (GST included). Dodo charges each renewal to the payment method you authorise at checkout, and its terms of sale also apply to the purchase. An account's first Pro subscription starts with a 14-day free trial: you authorise a payment method at checkout, nothing is charged that day, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One free trial per account; we may end trial offers for new subscriptions at any time. A Pro account may keep up to 20 businesses in the payment tracker once its first Pro payment has been taken; during a free trial it may keep up to 3. If an account returns to the free plan, its other businesses are kept and their pay links keep working, but only the first business can be edited until Pro is active again; the others can still be viewed, exported and deleted. You can cancel from the payment tracker's Settings at any time: renewals stop and Pro remains active until the end of the period already paid for. If a renewal fails, Pro may continue for a short grace period while the payment is retried. Refunds are covered by the cancellation & refund policy. We will tell you before changing the price of an existing subscription. Pay links show your business name and invoice details, with your UPI ID for INR invoices or the international payment details you saved for other currencies, to anyone who has the link; share them only with the intended payer and turn them off when no longer needed. A UTR or transfer reference submitted through a pay link is an unverified claim until you confirm it against your bank records.
11. Modifications and Termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict abusive accounts or campaigns. We may update these terms by publishing a new date on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
