What is Dynamic UPI QR?

A per-transaction QR with the amount pre-filled and locked inside the payload.
Dynamic QRs append am (amount) and tn (note/reference) parameters to the standard upi:// payload. Scanning opens the payment screen with everything pre-filled — the customer just enters their PIN, eliminating typing errors entirely.
They shine wherever exactness matters: invoice PDFs, order screens, event tickets, delivery COD collection. Because the note can carry an order ID, matching payments to orders becomes automatic instead of archaeology.

Do dynamic QRs need a paid gateway?
No — the format is plain NPCI standard. Tools like our invoice generator embed them free; gateways only add hosted pages and webhooks.
Can a customer change the amount?
The amount field arrives locked; only the paying app's own review screen governs edits, and standard UPI apps do not allow editing locked values.
